100mW Lasers come in many forms, and typically designate any laser with 100mW of average output power, capable of either CW (continuous wave) or pulsed output. CW Lasers are always defined in average output power. Pulsed Lasers with an output power defined in Watts or Milliwatts usually define the laser’s average power, not the peak power of the laser.
100mW lasers are often also referred to as 0.1W lasers. Both terms are interchangeable and mean the same thing.
RPMC Lasers offers a wide range of lasers emitting 100mW of average output power, which we group into various types, including single emitter laser diodes, laser diode modules, volume Bragg grating (VBG) laser diodes, quantum cascade laser (QCL) diodes, vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers (VCSEL) diodes, multi-wavelength beam combiners, turn-key systems, CW DPSS lasers, pulsed DPSS lasers, microchip lasers, and MIL-spec. lasers.
We provide a selection of 100mW standard laser configurations. For a few examples, we offer a 100mW, 450nm, single-mode, single emitter laser diode in a 5.6mm TO-Can package without photodiode, perfect for medical laser treatment, laser indicator, and laser detector applications.

With all these standard configurations, RPMC should have something to fit any need. However, if you do not see the exact right fit, please get a hold of us! We are often able to provide you with a customized version of one of our standard products. We are also able to provide a completely customized solution to exactly match your unique application needs.
