450mW Lasers

What are 450mW Lasers?

Lasers that designate 450mW (0.45W) of output power can have either CW (continuous wave) or pulsed output. CW Lasers are always defined in average output power. Pulsed Lasers with an output power defined in Watts or Milliwatts usually define the laser’s average power, not the peak power of the laser.

The PowerMir series is a line of high-power pulsed Quantum Cascade Lasers (QCL) based on our proprietary technology. Various integration levels available, including plug-and-play benchtop turnkey systems, OEM driver + laser modules, or just the HHL-packaged lasers. QCW operation allows for increased wall-plug efficiency and thermal dissipation.
