Quantas-Q2-1053 – High Energy Air-Cooled Q-Switched Laser 

The Quantas-Q2-1053 is a high energy q-switched 1053nm diode pumped solid state (DPSS) laser from Quantum Light Instruments.   This air-cooled, q-switched series of lasers is designed for a wide range of applications that require high peak power pulses.  Due to a short laser cavity and excellent thermal properties of the Nd:YAG crystal, the Quantas-Q2-1053 can deliver energy ranges from 8 mJ with < 8 ns pulses, up to 80 mJ of pulse energy with < 5 ns pulse width, depending on the pulse repetition rate (options of 10 Hz, 20 Hz, or 50Hz). High-speed triggering pulses with RMS jitter < 0.5 ns (in respect to falling edge of pump diode triggering pulse). Both internal and external triggering make this laser ideal for a wide range of high-speed applications.  The Quantas-Q2-1053 laser is controlled via a built-in Ethernet port with the option to add Wi-Fi adapter, allowing users to monitor and control laser remotely. Other options include an attachable attenuator for fundamental wavelength, attachable pulse energy monitor, and more.

All of these features make the Quantas-Q2 laser series a robust tool for applications like Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS), LCD repair, laser ablation, remote sensing, and many others.
