10W Lasers can be any laser that designates 10W of average output power, providing either CW (continuous-wave) or pulsed output. CW Lasers are always defined in average output power. Pulsed Lasers with an output power defined in Watts or Milliwatts usually define the laser’s average power, not the peak power of the laser.
RPMC Lasers provides a wide selection of laser products, producing 10W of average power output, including multi-emitter laser diodes, laser diode arrays (bars), VCSELs, multi-wavelength lasers, pulsed DPSS lasers, pulsed fiber lasers, ultrafast lasers, and fiber amplifiers.
10W lasers are available in a number of different configurations. For some examples, RPMC offers a 2um Fiber Amplifier, with a 1750-2054nm wavelength rang, and up to 10W output power, perfect for LIDAR and telecommunications applications.
We have an ultrafast, femtosecond DPSS laser, with 1040nm wavelength, 10W average output power, 250 fs pulse width, and an adjustable rep rate from 0 to 40MHz, with energy per pulse up to 1uJ (10W at 10MHz), perfect for fluorescence lifetime, micromachining, non-thermal ablation, multi-photon microscopy, and more.
We also provide an unmounted, single-emitter 10W laser diode, with 808nm wavelength, 200um emitter, and 4mm cavity length, perfect for aesthetics, cladding, night vision, and welding applications.
Our final example is a compact nanosecond laser, with 532nm wavelength, 10W average output power, and a PRF from 10 to 100kHz, perfect for marking, scribing, trimming, texturing, thin film removal, PCB production, and much more!
It always depends on specific application requirements, but likely we have the right, standard solution for your application. However, if you don’t see exactly what you need, we can likely provide a customized product or a fully customized solution to better fit your needs.
