What are 50W Lasers?

50W Lasers refers to any laser that emits 50W of average output power can have either CW (continuous wave) or pulsed output. CW Lasers are always defined in average output power. Pulsed Lasers with an output power defined in Watts or Milliwatts usually define the laser’s average power, not the peak power of the laser.

50W and 50000mW can be used interchangeably, referring to any laser that emits 50W of average power output.

Our 50W Laser Products

RPMC Lasers provides a selection of 50W laser products, categorized into different groups, including single emitter laser diodes, multi-emitter laser diodes, laser diode arrays (bars), vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) diodes, pulsed DPSS lasers, and pulsed DPSS amplifiers.

We provide a number of different standard configurations emitting 50W of average output power. For a few examples of our standard configurations, RPMC offers a 50W, 850nm, pulsed VCSEL diode, with 6.2ns pulse width, 11.68kHz PRF, in a T-mount package on copper substrate, perfect for laser illumination applications, producing unmatched low speckle and uniform illumination.

RPMC can also provide a 50W, 1064nm, ultrashort pulse laser, with 10ps pulse width, 250µJ pulse energy, and a range of single shot to 40 MHz PRF, perfect for photvoltaic and electronics production, display glass processing, and security & decorative marking applications.

Finally, we offer a 50W, 808nm, unmounted laser diode bar (array), with 30% fill factor, 150µm emitters @ 500µm pitch, and 2mm cavity length, perfect for laser aesthetics, welding, cladding, and night vision applications.

neoMOS 700fsThe neoMOS ultrashort pulse laser series is a reliable and low maintenance system designed for 24/7 industrial use. Its ultra-compact laser head has the smallest footprint available, making it easy to integrate into different systems. The laser systems are highly flexible and can be customized to meet specific needs, providing a wide range of laser parameters and pulse durations. With available pulse durations between 700fs and 70ps, repetition rates from single-shot to 80MHz, up to 500µJ pulse energy, average output powers up to 100W, multi-megawatt peak powers, and perfect TEM00 beam quality, these lasers can tackle many applications and are ideal for processing demanding materials such as transparent glasses and plastics.
