Overview of OT-31 – Er: Glass Q-Switched Laser Transmitter
The OT-31 is a high-energy, q-switched, 1.54µm diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) laser from Optitask LTD. This air-cooled, actively q-switched laser is explicitly designed for high energy laser transmission in the field, with an operating temperature range from -40oC to 65oC. This Laser delivers over 7 mJ of pulse energy with a full width half maximum (FWHM) pulse width of <30ns and a pulse repetition rate of 10Hz in continuous operation. With an output beam diameter of 4mm and a beam divergence less than 5 milliradians, these lasers are ideally suited for long-range transmission. Overview of Quantas-Q1-263 – High Energy Air-Cooled Q-Switched Laser
The Quantas-Q1-263 is a high energy q-switched 263nm diode pumped solid state (DPSS) laser from Quantum Light Instruments. This air-cooled, q-switched series of lasers are designed for a wide range of applications that require high peak power pulses. Due to a short laser cavity and excellent thermal properties of the Nd:YAG crystal, the Quantas-Q1-263 can deliver pulse energy of 7mJ @ 50Hz. High-speed triggering pulses with RMS jitter < 0.5 ns (in respect to the falling edge of pump diode triggering pulse). Both internal and external triggering makes this laser ideal for a wide range of high-speed applications. The Quantas-Q1-263 laser is controlled via a built-in Ethernet port with the option to add a Wi-Fi adapter, allowing users to monitor and control laser remotely.
