The TD-XX-7X is a line of thin disk laser crystals mounted on heatsinks. Mounting thin disk laser crystals to a proper heatsink ensures effective, homogenous, axial heat removal over a large surface area, the key technology for disk lasers. These OEM components are intended for various laboratory applications and for OEM production and are tested at typical operation conditions.

Our standard material is Yb:YAG with 7% of doping concentration (5% might be available upon request). The surface is wedged in order to suppress pre-pulses in pulsed operation. Outer crystal edges are beveled to avoid ASE. Output wavelength is 1030 nm and typical pump wavelengths are 940 or 969 nm.

We offer two standard sizes of the TD-XX-7X laser disk: 12 mm and 20 mm. Two disk thicknesses are available: 0.13 mm and 0.22 mm. Yb:YAG with a doping concentration of 7 at.% Yb3+ is employed. Please refer to the corresponding products TD12-7, TD20-7, etc.  The disk is wedged in order to suppress pre-pulses in pulsed operation. Outer crystal edges are beveled to avoid ASE.

Surface quality conforms to ISO 10110-7 imperfection of the final surface of 5/4×0.04.
