Photodynamic Therapy Lasers Overview
Photodynamic therapy or PDT, refers to any use of modulated laser light to induce a therapeutic response. Applications of PDT lasers vary widely from photoactivated medicines to cancer targeting photothermal nanoparticles, to near-infrared lasers induced vein dilation. Because the applications vary so widely, so do the laser diode sources used for PDT lasers. They can range from low power blue diodes to 10 watts near infrared fiber coupled diode bars. At RPMC we offer one of the largest selections of both low and high power diode lasers. On this page, you will find a list of all the PDT lasers we provide, including high power diode lasers, fiber coupled blue laser diode arrays, to 1 mW single mode 830 nm single emitters.
RPMC has years of experience supporting Photodynamic Therapy applications, helping industry professionals select the right tool for the job.
