Lasers that designate 1.5mW of average output power (also called 0.0015W lasers) can have either CW (continuous-wave) or pulsed output. CW Lasers are always defined in average output power. Pulsed Lasers with an output power defined in Watts or Milliwatts usually define the laser’s average power, not the peak power of the laser.
1.5mW is in a very low output power range. We currently provide a 543nm HeNe laser module, 633nm (632.8nm) HeNe laser tube, and a 1908-1970nm, single emitter, DFB laser diode module in this power class.
