Wavelength Range:

Visible light covers the wavelengths of 400nm to 750nm and the colors of violet, blue, green, red, and everything in between. Standard wavelength options with custom wavelengths available to better fulfill your needs.

Output Power Range:

These devices are available with single emitters or multiple emitters for higher output power.  Output power depends on the wavelength and the number of emitters.

Fiber Core Diameter:

In general, smaller fiber core diameter provides higher brightness and larger fiber diameters offer higher output powers. The standard fiber core size is 4um.

Output Options:

Options include attached fiber (Pigtailed), detachable fiber, and windowed devices.

Pigtailed The fiber is permanently attached to the device Minimizes losses in the fiber coupling
Detachable The fiber can be detached from the device Allows more flexibility in replacing a damaged fiber
Windowed No fiber, just a collimated beam output For when fiber delivery is not needed.

Connector Types:

The standard fiber connector options for MM laser diodes are SMA, FC, and none.

SMA Connector Industry-standard connector type with minimal connector interface and a screw-type coupling mechanism.
FC Connector Industry-standard connector type with tighter tolerances minimizing misalignments.

Package Type:

These laser diodes are packaged as either a module or a turn-key system. Modules are better for integrating into a custom system while the turn-key systems allow for better control over the lasers.
