Compact Fiber Lasers and Amplifiers

Established in 1997, BKtel is a world-leading supplier for 1.0um and 1.5um compact pulsed and CW fiber lasers and amplifiers.  These products have found homes in a variety of applications such as LIDAR, range finding, 3D scanning and other applications where eye-safe wavelengths are required in a compact form factor.  With nearly 20 years of R&D experience, the staff at Bktel has superior technical competence and provides best-in-class solutions to meet the most difficult customer-specific requirements.

BKtel’s technology is based on 15 years of product development for data transmission via HFC and fiber.  All products are developed and manufactured in-house in our facilities in Hueckelhoven.  Their quality management ensures complete inspection of all production components and every single piece of equipment prior to shipment to the customer.

The GFL 1.5um Compact Fiber Laser:

The GFL lasers utilize a compact design that will accommodate wide range of customer applications.  Available with average powers up to 2W and pulse widths from 500ps to 30ns and rep rates into the MHz regime.  Applications for the GFL series include LIDAR, range finding, 3D scanning and other eye-safe applications.

The HFL 1.5um Compact Fiber Laser:

The HFL lasers, the slightly larger and higher power version, is ready for a wide range of customer applications. They are available with average powers up to 4W and pulse widths from 400ps to 50ns and rep rates into the MHz regime. Applications for the HFL series include LIDAR, range finding, 3D scanning and also other eye-safe applications.

The CPFL 1.5um Compact Fiber Laser:

The CPFL lasers are a series of compact, air-cooled fiber lasers at 1.5µm (1550nm) that can be configured for a wide range of customer applications.  The CPFL series can be configured with average powers up to 1W and pulse widths from 500ps to 10ns and rep rates into the 10 MHz regimes. Applications for the CPFL series include Light source for LIDAR, 3D-scanning, and Autonomous driving.
