Wedge XB 1.5um, 800µJ
The Wedge XB (1.5um, 800µJ Wedge XB) laser emits more than 800µJ at 1.5um with a pulse width of 1.5ns, resulting in peak powers of over 530kW. Higher energy versions at 1.5µm are available upon request.
The air-conduction-cooled unit measures only 22 x 26 x 8 cm. First of all the Wedge family of lasers is available in different models and frequency. Second, the Frequency ranges from single shot to 100KHz, with polarized output and high energy stability. In addition based on proprietary fast Q-Switching technology, this compact, sealed, and the monolithic diode-pumped laser is vibration/shock proven and insensitive to harsh environments. You can customize the Wedge platform to suit a variety of applications needs. The Wedge is also successfully field for both ground and airborne applications.
