R0785MB0XXXB: 785nm Homogenized Multi-Mode 14-Pin BF Diode

Our proprietary, multi-mode, homogenized, wavelength stabilized diode, features high output power with narrow spectral bandwidth in a 14-pin butterfly (BF) package. The rectangular, homogenized beam profile spreads out the power density evenly and forms the beam to match the field of view of a camera. This flexible component comes standard in both 1:2 (vertical) and 2:1 (horizontal) aspect ratios (add ‘-75/150’ or ‘-150/75’ respectively, to your part number), as well as square profile. In addition to those standard options, we also offer custom beam profiles that may better suit your needs. We designed this component to replace expensive DFB, DBR, fiber, and external cavity lasers. Our goal is to meet your most demanding wavelength requirements. As such, our multi-mode spectrum stabilized laser offers superior wavelength stability over time, temperature (0.007 nm/0C), and vibration.

If needed, our devices will be spectrally tailored to suit your application needs. We also provide side mode suppression ratios (SMSRs) better than 40 dB. However, with an additional, optional filter, we achieve up to 70 dB, at some wavelengths. Therefore, our lasers provide an extremely high signal to noise ratio, which makes these diode laser sources ideal for Raman spectroscopy. Our laser diodes come standard with a narrow spectral bandwidth (< 0.15 nm FWHM, 0.1 nm typical). If you need to hold even tighter tolerances, ultra-narrow spectral bandwidth FWHM < 0.1 nm (0.07 nm typical) is available upon request (add ‘-NL’ to your part number).
