RPMC - Red Laser Diodes

DPSS Nanosecond Lasers

Primus: offered at the fundamental Nd:YAG wavelength (1.06µm) as well as two commonly desired alternative, 532nm through second harmonic generation, and 1.57µm by utilizing an optical parametric oscillator. Other wavelengths are available upon request. The short pulse, high peak power, conduction cooled design makes the lasers amenable to use in remote sensing applications. TID 20/50:This compact laser is perfectly suited to Short Wave Infrared imaging and other ladar applications. The innovative resonator, coupled with a monolithic OPO provides 50mJ at 1.06µm and 20mJ at 1.57µm. The laser was designed for airborne operation and can be easily integrated into turrets and other space constrained environments. Send an email to rpmc@rpmclasers.com.
Starlase: High power, q-switched, DPSS lasers available from 200W – 1.6kW with nanosecond pulses. These units are acousto-optically switched, diode pumped Nd:YAG laser system with a PLC control interface. High average powers are produced via a modular cavity design based around a standard gain module configuration with available 532nm, 355nm, and fiber coupled options. For more information please contact powerlase@rpmclasers.com
MQO: Passively q-switched OEM lasers configured to customer requirements to provide pulsewidths from 0.4 to 10 nanoseconds with TEMoo energies of up to 150 microJoules. Repetition rates as high as 300 kHz are available.  MQO's are used for LIDAR, fiber seeding, bioinstrumentation, LIBS, micromachining, supercontinuum generation, and various other applications. Wedge: 1MW peak power, 1ns air cooled laser. Two versions offered; mulit-mode and TEMoo, both with harmonics. The multi-mode configuration is capable of 1.8mJ while the TEMoo version has 1.2mJ output. Field replacement diodes. Applications include crystal marking, resistor trimming, OPO pump, LIDAR, spectroscopy, machining, and many more!

Luce: 5W, 10W, and 20W air cooled IR and harmonic versions offered. The Luce has an operational rep rate up to 100kHz. Field replacement diodes. Applications include marking, LIDAR, spectroscopy, and many more!

Fiber Lasers: These OEM pulsed laser modules are compact Pulsed Ytterbium Fiber Laser delivering up to 20W of average output power, through a near diffraction limited beam (M²<1.5). They are capable of 20 kW of peak power due to a pulse duration lower than 50 ns. Two key features is the possibility to operate in pulsed or CW mode and field replaceable diodes.

CW units delivering up to 50W. OEM and turn-key systems available.

Mini: These are short pulsed, low rep rate, compact and efficient lasers that are ideal for rangefinding, ladar, lidar, spectroscopy and much more.  Minis are pumped ith pulsed diodes. There is a small amount of waste heat that is delivered to the base plate of the two smallest units.  These come in 1064nm, the harmonics (532, 355) and in 1.57µm (somewhat tunable) output of the idler side at 3.1 – 3.3 um output.  Other OPO’s can be put into the system to generate output even at 5µm or higher.  Please let us know what you desire by sending an email to rpmc@rpmclasers.com.

2.0 nsec pulses @ 10 kHz: We have delivered several versions of this laser and are willing to do up to 50W.  The laser starts with an oscillator with about 150mW output.  It can operate at rep rates higher than 10 kHz, but the energy and the pulsewidth remain near constant from 1Hz through 10kHz.  After that, you will see some stretching of the pulses and you will see the energy drops as the average power of the laser flattens out.  We can build these with several amplifiers, and have worked with customers who have amplified the output up to >1kW!  Please let us know what you desire by sending an email to rpmc@rpmclasers.com.

Custom DPSS Laser Design and Build: Our custom laser group has a very wide berth of experience with YAG, YLF, YVO4, and many other host materials.  Our hallmark is short pulses.  Please send us an email to rpmc@rpmclasers.com in which you give us the initial requirements and we will be pleased to give you our next day reply on those specs and whether it is new to us or something we have done before.
