Laser Diode Manufacturing Engineer

Experienced laser diode manufacturing engineer needed for laser diode manufacturer located in Knoxville Tennessee. The key desires are:

• Solid technical background in the packaging of laser diodes; BS degree preferred, but good experience will be considered.
• The ideal candidate will be hands-on engineer willing to build products.
• Proven success in building high quality laser diode devices is required.
• Experience in managing and supervising laser technicians is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of fiber coupling and lensing laser diodes would be a strong plus.
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively, and with a high level of lasers/optics knowledge, understanding, and authority.

Laser Development Engineer

Experienced laser development engineer needed for laser manufacturer located near Seattle, Washington. Small town atmosphere, beautiful Pacific Northwest environment, affordable housing, and interesting work with a small but growing company are all features of this opportunity. The key desires are:

• Experimentalist to lead lab development efforts of laser and non-linear optical products.
• Experience with diode pumped solid state laser technology a must.
• Experience with non-linear optical systems is desirable.
• Degree level: BS required, MS or PhD preferred.
• Experience: 2-4 years required in lasers or optics.
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively, and with a high level of lasers/optics knowledge, understanding, and authority.

This is primarily a lab position where development and production of custom dpss systems will be the focus. Candidate will likely work on several product development efforts simultaneously. A willingness to learn and strong decision making capabilities would be beneficial.

Laser Sales Professional

RPMC is seeking an experienced laser professional to join our sales force. The ideal candidate would be described as:

• Technically strong enough to be comfortable with our products after a learning period.
• Interested in working with customers to learn what their needs are.
• Good sales aptitude...very few dropped balls.
• Prior sales experience a plus.
• Must have some laser background. That background could be in mechanical or electrical or laser or laser sales field.
• Willing to perform laser installations on an infrequent basis.
• Self starter.
• Hard worker.
• Based in St. Louis metro area.
