RPMC Lasers Inc. can offer super luminescent laser diodes (SLD's), Fabry-Perot, Distributed Feedback (DFB) laser diodes and LED's from 670nm up to 4um. Many packaging options are available for these devices, including fiber coupled packages.
SLD, F-P, DFB laser diodes and LED based products are employed over a wide range of applications including biomedical and industrial optical coherence tomography (OCT - e.g. for cornea and retina diagnostics or cardiovascular imaging), fiber optic gyros, Bragg Grating sensors, atomic force microscopy, measurement of the chromatic dispersion of fibers, testing of optoelectronic components (e.g. in terms of transmission or reflection spectra, amplification factors and alike), interrogation of fiber optic sensors, and machine vision.
