LUCE 1064 is a Diode Pumped Solid State Laser source operating in Q-switching up to 100 kHz repetition rate and 30W average power.

This DC powered OEM laser system is based on two modules, a pumping unit and a resonator unit. The laser pumping unit is included in a small footprint casing; it comprises fiber coupled CW laser diodes, thermo-electric cooling system and supply/control electronics. The laser resonator is enclosed in a miniaturized sealed laser head for maximum ruggedness and does not require maintenance for its proper use. This is an ideal marking laser!

Both the pumping and the resonator units have a built-in finned heat exchanger for air cooling.

Two basic versions are available:

  • Dual Unit. The resonator unit is linked to its pumping unit via a fiber optic cable and q-switch cable. This architecture allows to seperate the diode laser unit from the resonator resulting in a miniaturized sealed and rugged laser head suitable to fit in small spaces. Moreover, power electronics and pumping laser diodes dissipate their heat far away from the resonator unit.

  • Single Unit. The two units are joined together and the fiber is embedded inside.

Further Options:

  • beam expanding and collimating optics
  • circular polarization (standard for material processing)
  • read aiming beam
  • second harmonic @ 532nm

Applications:

  • Material Processing
  • Engraving
  • Marking and scribing
  • Micro-machining
  • Nonlinear optics
  • LIDAR/bathymetry
  • Spectroscopy
